Longshot Enterprises fabricates its standard "hay tarp" using a 10 ounce polyethelene silver/white tarp fabric. Since we fabricate our own tarps, you may choose the use of hemmed "pipe pockets" or brass grommets placed approximately 24" on center in the hems. Re-inforced zinc plated welded D-Rings along the hem are also an option. Some customers have requested webbing reinforcement spaced across the width of the tarp for added strength at an additional cost. Customized straps with "hay hooks" can be ordered with along with your tarps to use as tie downs. To obtain maximum longevity of your hay tarps the single most important issue is to keep the tarps tied down securely to minimize "wind whipping" and related damage. Longshots fabricates our grain drill covers using first grade 18 ounce vinyl coated polyester tarp fabric. The same material used in the rollover tarp on your grain trailer or grain cart. Each box cover has four grommets placed in the hem at each corner. Actual box demensions are required to insure proper sizing and fit.

Longshot Enterprises' generator and equipment covers are custom made to order. Due to the large volume and variety of generators, welders, drill presses, and similar type machinery requiring covers we have found that a "standard" or "stock" type equipment cover is not very feasible when "customizing" to the customers needs and preferences provides a more useful product. Longshot Enterprises fabricates a "stock" tapered feed pallet cover that features a row of D-Rings attached with re-inforced webbing approximately 18" above the bottom hem. Customers may choose between a lighter nylon "air bag" material or standard 18 ounce vinyl tarp material. Stock pallet covers fit a 46" x 54" pallet with a 59" drop. Custom sizes available.

Longshot's has the capability to fabricate "made to order" replacement covers for agricultural "Hoop Buildings". We utilize a 10 ounce polyethelene silver/white fabric. Since we custom make the covers we can fabricate the covers to meet individual customer needs. Use of grommets in the hems, pipe pockets, re-inforced D-rings and even "conastoga" style ends are based on customer needs and building design.
